1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MeetingCalc (the "Service") at meetingcalc.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

MeetingCalc is a free, browser-based tool that estimates meeting costs and provides educational guides about meeting effectiveness. All calculations are performed locally in your browser. We do not collect, store, or transmit the values you enter into the calculator.

3. No Warranty & "As Is" Basis

The Service and its outputs are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The cost estimates produced by the calculator are approximations based on the inputs you provide and should not be relied upon as financial, accounting, tax, legal, or professional advice.

You are solely responsible for verifying any number before using it to make business decisions.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the security of the Service;
  • Use automated systems to scrape or overload the Service in a way that degrades performance for other users;
  • Misrepresent the Service or its outputs as your own product.

Personal and commercial use of the calculator's outputs (e.g., sharing results with your team) is encouraged.

5. Embedding & Linking

You are welcome to link to MeetingCalc from your own site, articles, or internal documents, and to embed the calculator using the official embed snippet provided at /embed.html. We ask that the MeetingCalc branding remain visible in the embedded widget.

6. Intellectual Property

The MeetingCalc name, logo, written guides, and visual design are the property of the MeetingCalc operators. The underlying calculation logic is straightforward arithmetic and is not claimed as proprietary. You may quote and cite our written guides with attribution and a link back.

7. Third-Party Services

We use Google Analytics for aggregate, anonymized traffic measurement and Google AdSense to display ads. These services have their own terms and privacy policies. See our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operators of MeetingCalc shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to business decisions made on the basis of calculator outputs.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date below indicates when changes were made. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operators reside, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
